Newsy ("the app", "we") is a news reader that shows headlines, short summaries and thumbnails from third-party publishers and links to the original articles. This policy explains what data is processed when you use Newsy for iOS.

Data we collect

Newsy has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect your name, email or contacts. The app processes the following data:

Data stored only on your device

Your preferences (interface language, news languages, topics), saved articles, reading interests used for the "For You" feed, and voice-over settings are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to us.

Third parties

Data retention & your rights

Analytics and crash data are retained by Google per Firebase defaults and are not tied to your identity by us. You can reset the advertising identifier or withdraw tracking consent in iOS Settings → Privacy. For any privacy request, contact us at the address below.

Children

Newsy is a general-audience news app and is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy; the current version is always available at this address.
